THE MAGNET crosses all musical borders. The line-up includes the incredible participation of the creme of the crop of American Soul artists such as the great Isaac Hayes; melancholic Millie Jackson; Dennis Edwards from the legendary Temptations; contemporary Soul star Cunnie Williams; as well as New York’s most promising MCs Talib Kweli and Bruizza; and Marseilles’ talented new Hip-Hop generation. Both initiators Akhénaton, lead rapper of Europe’s most innovative and successful Rap group IAM, and the well known composer Bruno Coulais, who has written the music for around 35 full length films (including Microcosmos, Himalaya & the forthcoming The Crimson Rivers), have set a musical milestone for the new millennium.
